Use of the UAF Logo & NACE Certification Mark is subject to the conditions detailed below:
1. Where UAF Logo & NACE Certification Mark is used, the client shall ensure:
- That they are used together, not in isolation and not disproportionately represented, and positioned in a manner that ensures the relationship between the UAF and the NACE Certification Mark along with the Standard and Certification No.
2. Use shall be restricted to correspondence, advertising, and promotional material that is directly applicable to the scope of registration as shown on the Registration Schedule.
3. The UAF Logo shall not be used in such a way to suggest that the Accreditation Council, or any government minister, have certified or approved the client’s activities, or in any other misleading manner.
4. The UAF Logo must be as per Guidelines, the wording to be clearly Visible.
5. Use shall be such that there is no implication that the goods or services themselves are approved by UAF & NACE.
6. UAF Logo & NACE Certification Mark issued within the framework of a quality system certification programme.
- may be used on stationary, literature and publicity material;
- shall NOT be used on a product, or in any way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity;
7. Use of IAF & IAF MLA Mark strictly restrict for each client.
8. NACE will monitor and take suitable action to control its use of the IAF & IAF MLA Mark and to prevent any incorrect references or misleading use by its certified organizations;

*1. This could be a tangible product itself or product in an individual package container etc.
*2. This applies to marks that have a specific form including some basic description of its applicability. A statement in words alone does not constitute a mark in this sense. Any such wording should be true and not mislead.
*3. The statement includes reference to identification (e.g. brand or name) of the certified client, type of management system (e.g. QMS, EOMS, ISMS, ITSMS) and the applicable standard; the NACE issuing the certificate. Rules governing the use of any statement on product packaging or in accompanying information that the client has a certified management system. Product packaging is considered as that which can be removed without the product disintegrating or being damaged. Accompanying information is considered as separately available or easily detachable. Type labels or identification plates are considered as part of the product. The statement shall in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified by this means. The statement include reference to
— identification (e.g. brand or name) of the certified client;
— the type of management system (e.g. quality, environment) and the applicable standard;
— the certification body issuing the certificate.
*4 The marks is not permitted to be applied to laboratory test, calibration, inspection reports or certificates.
*5 The marks not allow reference to its management system certification to be used in such a way as to imply that the NACE certifies a product (including service) or process
*6. When using symbols or logos, adequate attention should be paid to avoid infringement of clauses 3.1.1.2d) and 3.7 of ISO/ IEC 17021
*7 if violated, NACE Conformity Assessment Services Pvt. Ltd. (NACE) reserves the right to revoke/
suspend/ withdraw the registration certificate without prior written information to client
and legal action will be taken under section 406IPC which is breach of contract/trust.
*8 NACE logo is registered by The registrar of trade mark under the trademark act 1999
Unauthorized use of mark shall be punished under section 23 (2) rule 62 (!).
We accept that we have well understood all the above terms and conditions and the above are overridden by the conditions for the use of UAF Logo & NACE Certification mark and we undertake to abide by all for the use of UAF Logo & NACE Certification mark and if violated, Care Certification Private Limited (NACE) reserves the right to revoke/ suspend/ withdraw the registration certificate without prior written information to us and action will be taken under section 406 breach of contract/trust.
